Sophia’s portraits were more than just pretty pictures—they had a job to do. From recruitment resumes to graduation announcements, they are now part of a lasting visual legacy of her senior year.

“My portraits are going to be used for my college sorority recruitment resume as well as social media posts. We are also using a couple of the pictures for my graduation thank you cards.”

Session Day: Style, Excitement & the Perfect Backdrop

As a Westampton, NJ Senior and Family Photographer, Lisa knows how to bring out each senior’s personality while keeping the process smooth and stress-free. Before Sophia’s session, Lisa made sure she felt completely prepared—asking about the purpose of the photos and reviewing her outfit selections ahead of time.

“I sent her a picture of the two complete outfits I planned to wear—she loved the choices and recommended bringing a jean jacket to add in some photos.”

With rain in the forecast, Lisa also came prepared with a beautiful white umbrella—turning a potential challenge into a creative opportunity.

“We got some of the cutest photos with the umbrella.”

The session took place at the always-gorgeous Kirby’s Mill in nearby Medford, NJ. As a local expert, Lisa knew it would provide the perfect mix of rustic charm and scenic variety.

“It was a perfect location. So many different photo options—barn style, water backdrops, and bridges. Lisa has a great eye for detail and can see what will look good in a photo. Even a slight tilt to your head can make a big difference in a beautiful shot.”

What's Next...

Sophia is off to the University of Mississippi—Ole Miss! We are so proud of her and can’t wait to hear all about her college adventures. When the time comes, we’re already looking forward to photographing her college graduation portraits—another milestone worth capturing.
