It captures who you were at the beginning of a year filled with accomplishments, change, excitement, and anticipation for everything that comes next.

And while your portrait needs to meet your school's yearbook requirements, the experience itself doesn't have to feel rushed or impersonal. You don't need to know how to pose or have experience in front of the camera. I'll guide you throughout your session, paying attention to the details and expressions that help you look and feel your best.

Depending on your school's policies, you may also be able to choose your own photographer rather than using the photography company associated with your school. Because requirements vary, be sure to check with your Yearbook Advisor to confirm your school's portrait specifications, submission process, and deadline.

Long after graduation, you'll be able to open your yearbook and return to this moment. Your senior year deserves a portrait you're proud to see there.

Your yearbook portrait may follow certain school guidelines, but that doesn't mean your portrait experience can't celebrate who you are.

Your portrait session is an opportunity to incorporate some of those meaningful details into the portraits we create.

That might mean celebrating a sport you've dedicated years to, incorporating an instrument, highlighting an academic or artistic accomplishment, or including something connected to the career or college path you're pursuing. For twins or siblings graduating together, we can also create portraits that celebrate that special connection while still giving each senior an opportunity to express their individuality.

The details don't need to be elaborate. Sometimes one meaningful item, activity, or personal element is all it takes to make a portrait feel distinctly yours.

Every senior has different needs, which is why Lisa Mongulla Photography offers two Yearbook Portrait Session options for the Class of 2027.

The 30-Minute Yearbook Session is perfect for seniors who want a beautiful, traditional yearbook portrait in a focused studio experience. We'll create polished yearbook and graduation portraits while keeping the session relaxed, efficient, and enjoyable.

For seniors who want a little more, the 60-Minute Yearbook Plus Session gives us additional time to go beyond the traditional yearbook image. Along with your yearbook portraits, we can create personality portraits and professional headshots that showcase more of your individual style and confidence.

Whichever session you choose, all Yearbook Portrait Sessions include:

An in-studio photography session
Traditional yearbook portraits
Black velvet drape
Tuxedo
Graduation cap, gown, tassel, and year charm
White shirt and tie selection for under the gown, as needed
Professionally edited yearbook portrait
Direct submission to your Yearbook Advisor, where applicable
Private online gallery through July following graduation
One edit included per ordered image
