Every year I do something to move my craft forward. Education is extremely important at any age, and this year I made the decision to invest and learn from one of the industry's best!  It was my first "hands on" training, and it didn't disappoint!  Cliff Mautner is one of the industry's international top wedding photographers and his studio is right here in South NJ.  Last week, I along with 14 other photographers, met at Cliff's studio to participate in his lighting bootcamp.  We shared long, 12+ hour days that included class time as well as working with amazing professional models in wedding environments both indoor and outdoor in Philadelphia. I admittedly shared that I stress about lighting regularly.  Cliff not only shared techniques on working with many different types of light sources and how to look for directional light, but took the mystery out of it!  As a photographer, I would consider investing in Cliff's bootcamps in the future.  Personally, I consider him not only a mentor, but a friend.
