Highlighting the Good Times During COVID-19 Quarantines

Lisa Mongulla Photography Has Joined the Front Porch Project to Highlight Family Fun While Helping the Food Bank of South Jersey

Photography is not an essential business in the eyes of quarantine law. However, capturing memories to help you remember the best of times during the worst of times is critical for mental health.  That is why Lisa Mongulla Photography has joined the Front Porch Project to help capture memories for people and give to the Food Bank of South Jersey in the process.

Families in Mount Laurel, Medford, Marlton, Cinnaminson and other nearby towns in NJ, can stand on their porch or in their front yard and enjoy a professional photo session while Lisa stands 6-10 feet away. In the process, she captures the essence of family and the love that overshadows the pandemic sweeping the world. In exchange, families can make a donation of any amount (and they do) which will go to the Food Bank of South Jersey in exchange for all the digital photos from the session.

Lisa Mongulla explains, "It's a great way to cheer people up and give back to an organization that is struggling to help those in need feed their families. People have been giving anywhere from $5 to $500, and they get so much in return, including the photos. And I get to do what I love: capturing true family moments!"

What Is the Front Porch Project?

The Front Porch Project is a photography project which began in Massachusetts before the entire country shut down. Two photographers were looking for a way to help people capture memories as fears of Coronavirus were starting to spread. The concept has since swept the nation.

Photographers from around the country are offering drive-by photo sessions to families who need a pick me up. Some are offering photos for free. Some are merely expanding their business capabilities. And some, like Lisa Mongulla Photography, are using it as a way to help the community through charity.

Social Distancing is critical, including when providing photos to the families through digital downloads. It is the safest way for a professional photographer to help you and your family find joy and excitement while capture those memories.

How Does It Work?

Families living in neighborhoods in the surrounding areas to Westampton NJ can contact Lisa Mongulla Photography to schedule a neighborhood photoshoot. It is quick and easy. Donations can be made after at any time, before or after your session. No one has to shake hands or exchange money. It is safe, comfortable, and an excellent way to help a great cause.

As a bonus, any families with a high school senior can receive a complimentary senior session as well.
