I met Roberto many years ago when we worked together for General Instrument/Motorola (remember them?). He was planning a visit to Philadelphia in September, and called to see if I was available to get together. Roberto mentioned he was working on his website and needed a fresh look for his professional image. We began planning his look as well as where to capture these images.  I wanted to help him get the images he wanted and needed to complete his branding vision.

Roberto is a professional business coach. His offices are based out of Florida. Therefore, even though we were in Philadelphia we needed portraits that did not show Philadelphia. He was looking for both outdoor and indoor headshots, but they had to be non-specific for the locale in order to be able to could use them for his Florida-based business.

We got lucky and the weather was perfect! We were able to get headshots throughout Philadelphia that fit his needs and updated his professional image. What transpired was a pure masterpiece that we were both proud to be part of. 

How Headshots Personalized a Website

Roberto chose to use his portraits throughout his website to add a personal touch. He chose to use his new headshots in several specific places on his website. His first headshot was used as part of his header. As a result, as soon as you click on his website, you know who he is and what he looks like. 

He then uses several branding images below his header to highlight what his business will do for you. He also uses a separate headshot to highlight the section in which he talks about how he helps people build their business. He wants to make it personal.

The final headshot includes an appropriate wardrobe change and accompanies his bio on his website. The location of these headshots puts a face to a name and to a concept. As a certified business and executive coach, Roberto must sell himself. His headshots help him make his sales pitch more personal, so it is easier to do this.
